Disable Auto Call Answering Feature on Android Step 5: Now Check the Box to Enable Auto Answer Feature. Step 4: In the Settings, You Can See the “Auto Answer Feature.” If it is not available Under The Settings, then You Can Find it Under Call Settings (Settings > Call Settings > Auto Answer).

I hope this will be fixed soon, especially as you competitor P. I do love your headsets and had an Evolve 40 and 65 before and the audio and build quality of the headset was why I personally spend a lot of money for your classy eveolve2 headsets. Right now I cannot use the feature that the headset can connect 2 devices simultaneously as I do not have any control over it. it is really embarrassing to tell your client or boss you have missed the last minute or so as your phone rang and your headset switched over. Signal the incoming call, but do never automatically switch over the audio channels if another call session is ongoing. U/JabraSupport THIS IS A COMPLETE NO GO! Please check this with your development teams and I hope it is something you can fix in SW. THIS IS A COMPLETE NO GO! If you have connected the headset to 2 devices and you are in lets say a WebEx Teams call (busy light is on, so headset knows it's in a call and I have also tested "Prioritize computer audio" in Jabra Direct SW on and off) and your phone rings, the headset will switch it's connection to the phone and you loose the connection to you actual running session.

The most annoying thing - wich I guess all evolve series headsets experience - is that it will disconnect your audio channel if your second device rings. I did not had any complains on audio quality so far, but my colleagues and customers are probably hardboiled due to much different audio experiences during the past month of (video) conferencing. I hope this is related to the more complex audio handling of 10 microphones and will improve over time. My experience is that the boom mic of the 65 with (only) 3 microphones sounds much more clear in comparison to the boom mice of the 85. and the Evolve 2 85 (for more private related activities like music listening and private calls, but also as stand-in when it comes to business conferences where I have the 65 not with me. I have both the Evolve2 65 (for more business related activities like video conferencing etc. Thank you /u/falingron for sharing your detailed experience. Let's say, you create an upgraded version, maybe the Evolve2+ where all those issues are fixed, I would definitely try it again. meh, you didn't made your homework Jabra. I would keep and like it if the microphone quality and the boom arm would be way way better, but this is a no-go for a premium business headset in this price range. IMHO, that all doesn't make sense and in total, for me it looks like an unfinished design, which was thrown on the market as quickly as possible due to the current situation (COVID-19) and the acute need due to home-office.įor me it's not worth the 320€ and certainly not the 540€ suggested retail price. so for what we should buy this desktop stand? A fallback connection with attached usb cable would be also a great thing.

I'm not really familiar with the technical/hardware part, but what I would expect for a premium business/consumer headset in 2020 is, that it will come with a 2.4GHz connection, like some of the gaming headsets I mentioned above and a bluetooth connection for devices where the 2.4GHz won't work. The second way to mute the mic is to push up the boom arm, which works good. This results in a crackling noise, because you have to touch the mic. Every time you want to mute your mic you have to push the small button on the boom arm with two fingers, like you want to pick something up. it just moves a little bit upwards, what results in a slightly reduced quality. The arm doesn't stay in the lowest position. In everyday use, I'm sure it will break sooner or later. This also feels very fragile and isn't good user experience imho. It must be turned/rotated by 90 degrees every time you pull it out or put it back.

Gaming Headsets like Beyerdynamic MMX300, Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless, Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE, etc.) I would prefer a better microphone which is longer and can be adjusted to my needs even if it doesn't win a design award. It gives the impression as if it already breaks down from just looking at it. It's small, thin and feels really fragile. Great idea to combine business and private use-cases. At first, it's a really great idea to have a microphone arm on this headset which can be folded or hidden while just listening to music or watching a movie.
